Offer-via-Text in Telestaff

This article describes setup and use of 'Offer via Text' in Telestaff.  This feature allows employees to receive and accept or reject working opportunities via text message.  

Individual employees will need to setup 'Offer via Text' in their Telestaff profiles



To setup offer-via-text in Telestaff, go to your profile, and select 'Mobile' in Contact Method #2.  Enter your phone number in the this format, with a +1 at the beginning:

+18018675309

When finished, check the 'SMS' box, and save your profile.  

The 1st Contact method will be used for voice, (telephone), notifications in Telestaff.  This can also be listed as 'Mobile', with the SMS box unchecked.  

Go back to the 2nd Contact, and press the 'Verify' button.  The following popup box will appear.  Press 'Send'.



You'll receive a text message that looks like this.  Click the link in the message to verify your interest in receiving notifications via text message.



After clicking the link, the 2nd contact method will show as 'Verified', and you'll be setup to receive text based offers and communications.


Sending Offers-via-Text

Staffing personnel can send offers-via-text by selecting the 2nd Contact method when performing an outbound:


The end user will receive a text message with the ability to accept or reject a working opportunity, by clicking on the appropriate hyperlink:



After the link is clicked, the user will be directed to a Telestaff webpage to confirm:
